This is my least favourite of Jd’s books that we’ve read so far。 I guess the idea of it is to build tension in your child and tickle them a lot but it just doesn’t speak to me in the ways her other books do。 The animals in the book and the places are a bit random and it feels clunky compared to the others we read。 Nevertheless Logan enjoys lifting the flaps and looking at the pictures so it’s worth it for that。

。。。more

Genuinely awful book。 No meter or rhyme seems to work, it makes little sense and even my daughter who received this at the age of 1 gets bored of it halfway through。 Sometimes it isn't obvious where she should read next。 Only Sheffler's drawings give this book anything at all。 Would not recommend this book。 Genuinely awful book。 No meter or rhyme seems to work, it makes little sense and even my daughter who received this at the age of 1 gets bored of it halfway through。 Sometimes it isn't obvious where she should read next。 Only Sheffler's drawings give this book anything at all。 Would not recommend this book。 。。。more

My kids like it, but the rhythm of the lines and rhymes are excruciating- especially after reading a Julia Donaldson。 Don’t confuse this with a Julia Donaldson!

Ideal for little ones: interactive and colourful with cute illustrations。 My kids enjoyed it!

This is great for younger readers, interactive with flaps and looking for the tickle monster。 As always Axel Scheffler's books have lots of detail in the picture for vocab。 This is great for younger readers, interactive with flaps and looking for the tickle monster。 As always Axel Scheffler's books have lots of detail in the picture for vocab。 。。。more

I've actually bought this as a Christmas gift for my one year old nephew, Kit, but being an obsessive reader, I just had to have a good read of it first, and it would be wrong of me not to review it too。This is a hardback with hard cardboard pages, so is ideal for little ones。 There are thinner cardboard lift up flaps on each of the pages, so there may be some supervision required if you have a little one that likes to rip things。The illustrations are colourful and cute。 The pages are full of an I've actually bought this as a Christmas gift for my one year old nephew, Kit, but being an obsessive reader, I just had to have a good read of it first, and it would be wrong of me not to review it too。This is a hardback with hard cardboard pages, so is ideal for little ones。 There are thinner cardboard lift up flaps on each of the pages, so there may be some supervision required if you have a little one that likes to rip things。The illustrations are colourful and cute。 The pages are full of animals, and behind the flaps hides the adorable spotty Ticklemonster! The Tickle Book - 18 mesi + The Tickle Book è un libro pieno di solletico! Brilliant to read with a toddler, it has got lots of pull-out tabs and flaps to lift, and best of all, a "tickle-attack" on every page。 Brilliant to read with a toddler, it has got lots of pull-out tabs and flaps to lift, and best of all, a "tickle-attack" on every page。 。。。more
